Jimmy Cloman

Known by many as "Jimmy Clo," a native of Philadelphia who now proudly calls Utah home. Currently residing in Cedar City, their sights are set on establishing their regenerative ranch in the Escalante Desert Valley.

Jim's journey into regenerative agriculture began when he, along with his business partner AJ Richards, acquired land adjacent in the Escalante region. Jim & AJ recognized the need for positive change and hope in this unique landscape, thus the Escalante Land Trust was born. As the Co-founder and leader of this project, Jim envisions leading the organization to success with the unwavering support of his loyal team.

Jim aims to contribute his valuable understanding of urban and city culture, recognizing the increasing significance of addressing the disconnect from the land. In an era where this cultural & political division is giving rise to unforeseen societal issues, Jim believes it is crucial to shed light on these concerns as well bridge the division. Raising awareness among consumers in large cities is just as imperative as doing so in rural environments.

Jim is also the owner and operator of an aerial data drone business, a venture that aligns with his commitment to serving their nonprofit mission by gathering valuable data from the skies. Beyond his professional pursuits, Jim finds joy in leisure activities. AJ Richards

AJ Richards is a dedicated husband and father while being a seasoned expert in agriculture and food supply chain management. He brings a combination of experience and passion to his work, driven by his goal to improve the world. With a background in family ranching in Southern Utah, AJ has a deep appreciation for nature and a commitment to quality.

He has devoted himself to exploring the current food supply chain model, recognizing the negative impact of centralized meat processing plants and food logistics on farmers and consumers. By empowering families with control over their food supply, AJ aims to enhance food security and reduce the carbon footprint associated with food imports.

AJ's ultimate goal is to bring locally sourced meat, produce, dairy, and eggs to tables across the US while transforming the food supply chain and benefiting the local communities and the environment.

Anna Lytle

Anna and her family, first-generation farmers, are diligently crafting a regenerative farm in the heart of Escalante Valley. Originally from Texas, Anna proudly embraces Utah as her new home, having served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. Now, she channels her commitment to community service through providing regeneratively grown food and flowers.

Anna’s journey into regenerative agriculture commenced when her family relocated to their 1/3 acre property in Saint George in 2018. As her aspirations expanded beyond the available space, the family transitioned to their current 20-acre plot in 2022. Inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Elaine Ingham, Anna aims to become certified as a lab technician with the Soil Food Web, empowering fellow farmers and ranchers to comprehend soil dynamics at a microscopic level.

Guided by a holistic ethos, Anna perceives the interconnectedness of soil health, plant vitality, animal welfare, and human well-being. Beyond cultivating produce and blossoms for local markets, the family tends to Jersey cows, Nubian goats for milk, and a sizable flock of chickens. Additionally, Anna homeschools her two children and leverages her expertise as a professional photographer and videographer to magnify the splendor and serenity of nature.
